Lakers Lose Again, Tiger's Back, Manny-Melo Connection, and the NFL Lockout Mess
Hi kids, back to the sarcasm:
See that Lakers? Do you see that Bulls team winning games in April?? Do you?? I know you've been here before which makes me even angrier- stop it! Now.
This is how I envision the Laker locker room:
But hey, look at the bright side, at least with that Trailblazers' win, they now move ahead of the New Orleans Hornets which would be a much better first round matchup for the Lakers- provided they don't choke away the #2 seed.
Tiger Woods shoots a 66 to vault near the top of the leaderboard at this year's Masters Tournament and remind everyone just how distracting a messy divorce can be.
You know who's most upset about this: Phil Mickelson. Now everyone's going to be talking about this "Tiger Resurrection". Also, Rory McIlroy can't be exceptionally pleased about it either. Golf is insanely mental and with everyone asking you how it feels to have Tiger chasing you, it's impossible to not have it bother you.
I don't know, you tell me: Manny retires, the Rays win. Carmelo Anthony gets traded, the Nuggets get hot. Don't you just get the feeling their respective teams breathed a sigh of relief when they left?
You know the NFL is in trouble when Congress is coming to compromises faster than they can.
All sides are quiet after Friday's conference call with Judge Nelson, and aside from all the Judd Nelson/ Breakfast Club jokes on my twitterwall, I have to say that the lack of motion is unsettling, but not altogether unexpected.
I wish it would be different, but my gut tells me that this thing will linger until people start missing game checks.
