Masters, NFL Lockout, Celtics, and Barry Bonds...Again
Rory McIlroy shoots a 65 at the Masters. Alvaro Quiros matches him.
We'll see if it stands up, but you gotta hand it to them. I usually have a 65 through 4 holes.
The NFL and the NFLPA apparently are willing to go through mediation but they disagree on where to have it.
Really?? Can we just all pretend to act like we don't want to lose any football games and just talk.
However, I would like to point out that it seems that the players decertifying is throwing a major wrench into the works. In my opinion, if they hadn't pulled that crap, the two sides would still be talking and probably would not have stopped.
Not for nothing, but how bad do the Celtics look these days? General Manager Danny Ainge may have just shit-canned the whole season with that Kendrick Perkins trade.
Especially since if Shaquille O'Neal can't stay healthy. Did you see his calf strain the other night? I swore I heard someone yell "SNIPER!!" right after he went down.
I'm a Laker fan so I'm throwing my bias out into the open, but to you Celtics fans- if you're waiting on a 36 year old 7-footer to not have leg issues so you can contend for the playoffs you're in trouble.
This was a team that built to win now. Rey Allen, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett are all getting older and while they still will probably be very good for a few more years no one can deny their championship window is closing.
They took the Lakers to seven games last year, and some would say losing Perkins for the final game made all the difference. If Shaq can stay healthy, maybe Ainge will prove everyone wrong.
I just don't see that happening.
The Barry Bonds trial is going to jury. Who cares?
I mean honestly kids, does it really matter what this jury says? I think we all know what was going on and whether or not they could prove it a court of law means absolutely nothing to me.
Barry is a cheater. Case closed.
