Last year I was quick to roll my eyes when then rookie Blake Griffin sustained a season ending injury before the season started. However, it seems that the Clippers have a certain spark these days, and while it hasn't translated into many wins, at least there's some point to sitting through their highlights now.

Robbie Alomar is a Hall Of Famer. Great player who forever will be tarnished in my memory for the time he spit at umpire John Hirschbeck. Apparently Hirschbeck has forgiven him, and that's nice. And I suppose there's worse character plagued players in the hall, I just think he should have been made to wait a bit.
