Fake FG's, Baseball, and the Manning's- Oh My!
So wow, yeah, hey Notre Dame- don't feel bad. Nobody else would have thought that fake field goal was coming either. There is a part of me that thinks someone should have dropped back into deep coverage once the holder stood up. It's just me, I could be wrong.
So Washington QB Jake Locker had a pretty inaccurate Saturday and now his top notch draft status is in question. That might work out well for him, I mean it didn't work out all that well for a certain former Washington State prospect, now did it. I won't mention names, I'm just going to Leaf it alone.
In the NFL the Manning Bowl is the talk of the week, but there are some other games that merit your attention. Personally, the Ravens-Bengals game and Patriots-Jets game interest me as much as whether or not Eli can beat big brother. Besides, how much bad blood can there be between the two after their foray into the Oreo Double Stuff Racing League?
There's two baseball pennant races that are heating up and woah, look out, wouldn't you know they still have games left against each other. The New York Yankees currently have a 1/2 game lead on the Tampa Bay Rays and Monday they start a 4 game series at Yankee Stadium. Must see TV to be sure. The other neck-and-neck race is in the National League West where the Giants trail the Padres 1/2 game and the Rockies are only a game out. The Giants have a three game set with the Rockies starting 9/24, before closing out the season against the Padres.
Speaking of the Rockies, what Troy Tulowitzki is doing is truly memorable. 14 home runs in 15 games, tying Albert Belle and Barry Bonds as the only major leaguers to do that.
Only catch is that Tulowitzki doesn't have needle marks in his ass.

I want the space! How much does it cost?
