Apparently Olympiacos, the Greek basketball club that was courting New York Knicks PG Stephon Marbury, has given up trying to work out a deal and have turned their attention to going after Jannero Pargo.

Pargo has been playing for a professional club in Moscow and has apparently been granted his release.

How much worse can it get for Marbury?

In this test of manhood between the Knicks and Marbury, the latter is clearly losing big. One of the reasons Pargo is preferred to Marbury is reportedly because teams have seen Pargo actually play this year.

Also in the "Thanks, but no thanks" category, Avery Johnson has reportedly turned down an offer to coach the Memphis Grizzlies.

If anyone thought he wasn't smart has to change their opinion now. As stated in last night's podcast, this franchise is a mess.

And it doesn't appear to be ending soon.
